Country checks or brown for cocoa mixes and bright red or gigham for cranberry and apple mixes. To make the Gift Tag , a great idea if making a cookie mix is to cut around a cookie cutter and print your instructions on the shape, then add the cookie cutter with a ribbon to the jar. To make a Fabric Lid that fits inside the jar rim for your Mason Jar, simply cut a circle of fabric a little bit bigger than the inside round metal lid. Cut a piece of quilt batting the same size as the lid, glue the quilt batting down first and then the fabric to the metal round lid. Trim even around the edges. When you screw on the outer metal band, everything will be neatly inside. |
