Knitted Lightweight Stole

This lovely stole is just enough to chase a chill but still be light on your shoulders. Fourteen ouncs of three ply yarn. Number 8 standard knitting needles and size E crochet hook is needed to make this 10x67 inch stole.

Guage: 11sts equal 2 inches

PATTERN ST: *K 6, (k1, yo, k2 together) 4 times, repeat from * across, end k6.

Cast on 96 stitches. K2 rows. Work pattern st until pieces measures 67 inches. K2 rows. Bind off. Crochet 1 row sc around 4 edges of stole, keeping work flat. Block.

FRINGE: cut five 17 inch lengths of yarn for each fringe. Tie 1 fringe in forst sc and in every 4th sc across both short ends. Trim fringe ends.
